CORE Predicts 5.2% Growth in 2017
Illustration (Photo: MI/Atet Dwi), Jakarta: The Center of Reforms on Economics (CORE) predicts the Indonesian economy will grow 5.2 percent in 2017.

"There are several requirements," said CORE executive director Hendri Saparini in Jakarta on Wednesday (11/23)

The think tank also predicts the investment realization will grow 5.5 percent next year. Meanwhile, exports will grow 0.8 percent.

Furthermore, private consumption will grow 5.5 percent and government consumption will grow five percent.

CORE researcher Muhammad Faisal mentioned financial, telecommunication, energy and tourism sectors will boost growth next year.

"There will be 12.7 million international tourists in 2017," Faisal stated.
