"The state budget draft was approved by eight factions," House Deputy Speaker Taufik Kurniawan said.

The economic growth target was set at 5.4 percent. Meanwhile, the annual inflation target was set at 3.5 percent.

The government revenue target was set at Rp1,849.7 trillion. On the other hand, the government spending target was set at Rp2,220.7 trillion.

"The budget deficit target was set at 2.19 percent of the gross domestic product (GDP)," House Budget Committee head Azis Syamuddin.

The poverty rate target was set at 9.5-10 percent. Moreover, the unemployment rate was set at 5-5.3 percent.

"The country's debt to GDP ratio will be maintained at below 30 percent," Finance Minister Sri Mulyani Indrawati said.
