Metrotvnews.com, Jakarta: Indonesia's Central Statistics Agency (BPS) has predicted the country's economic growth may reach below 5.2 percent this year.

According to data, the country's economic growth only reached 5.06 percent in the third quarter of 2017. It was lower compared to the earlier expectations.

"The 5.1-5.2 percent economic growth target is difficult," BPS national account and statistics analysis deputy Sri Soelistyowati said in Central Jakarta on Monday evening.

Besides that, the country's household consumption growth only reached 4.93 percent in the third quarter of 2017. It was weaker compared to the previous quarters.
