JCI Rises 2.72 Points in First Session

Jakarta: The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) increased by 0.04 percent or 2.72 points to 6,372.78 before break on Monday.

According to RTI, the transaction volume was about 11.68 billion shares worth around 3.03 trillion rupiahs.

Moreover, as many as 176 stocks were up, 131 were down and 129 were unchanged.

The index of 45 most liquid stocks (LQ45) decreased by 0.12 percent or 1.29 points to 1,081.23 at the end of the morning session.

In the first session, the top gainers were PT Nusa Konstruksi Enjinirin Tbk (DGIK), PT J Resources Asia Pasifik Tbk (PSAB) and Pt Energi Mega Persada Tbk (ENRG).

On the other hand, PT Campina Ice Cream Industry Tbk (CAMP), Pt Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa Tbk (INTP) and Pt Inti Agri Resources Tbk (IIKP).
