JISDOR Depreciates 13 Points

Metrotvnews.com, Jakarta: The Jakarta Interbank Spot Dollar Rate (JISDOR) depreciated by 13 points to Rp13,331 per dollar on Wednesday, August 2, 2017.

"The rupiah could be hampered by strengthening US dollar due to falling crude oil prices," Samuel Sekuritas analyst Rangga Cipta said.

The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) increased by 19.044 points or 0.328 percent to 5,824.249 points this afternoon.

According to RTI Infokom, the transaction volume reached around 9.49 billion shares worth around 7.31 trillion rupiah.

As many as 144 stocks were up, 191 stocks were down and 112 stocks were unchanged.
