Metrotvnews.com, Jakarta: Angkasa Pura I will expand five airports to boost tourism industry in the country.

The state-owned company will renovate Juanda Airport, Hasanudin Airport, New Yogyakarta Airport, Achmad Yani Airport and Samsudin Noor Airport.

"Indonesia has big tourism potential," Angkasa Pura I director for finance and information technology Novrihanri said here on Monday (11/28).

"The government is committed to boost tourism industry. We are ready to support the plan," he continued.

He mentioned the project will take around 3-4 years. It will cost around Rp25 trillion. 

"It will improve passenger comfort," he stated.
