Metrotvnews.com, Jakarta: Energy and Mineral Resources Ministry electricity director general Jarman said the ministry will achieve electrification rate target for this year.

"Electrification rate reached 89.8 percent in September 2016," Jarman said on Wednesday (11/30).

"It will reach 90.5 percent by the end of the year," he continued.

The ministry will continue to improve electrification rate. It will add more power stations, power substations and power lines.

"We hope electrification rate can reach 97 percent in 2019," he stated.
