Metrotvnews.com, Jakarta: The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) decreased by 18.129 points (0.419 percent) to 5,929.201 on Wednesday, October 18, 2017.

According to RTI Infokom, the transaction volume were about 9.45 billion shares worth around 8.77 trillion rupiah.

Moreover, as many as 202 stocks were down, 143 stocks were up and 110 stocks were unchanged.

The index of 45 most liquid stocks (LQ45) decreased by 4.159 points (0.419 percent) to 987.483  at the end of the afternoon session.

The top losers were PT Eratex Djaja Tbk (ERTX), PT Global Mediacom Tbk (BMTR), PT Limas Indonesia Makmur Tbk (LMAS), PT Nusantara Infrastructure Tbk (META), PT Agung Podomoro Land Tbk (APLN).

The top gainers were PT Visi Media Asia Tbk (VIVA), PT Mitrabaahtera Segara Sejati Tbk (MBSS), Pt Express Transindo Utama tbk (TAXI), PT Intraco Penta Tbk (INTA) and PT Soechi Lines Tbk (SOCI).
