JCI Down 0.11% in Morning Session

Jakarta: The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) decreased by 0.11 percent, or 6.95 points, to 6,062.83 in the opening session on Thursday morning.

According to RTI Infokom, the transaction volume were about 4.46 billion shares worth around 2.25 trillion rupiah.

Moreover, as many as 145 stocks were down, 149 were up and 123 were unchanged.

The index of 45 most liquid stocks (LQ45) increased by 0.02 percent, or 0.25 points, to 1,016.48 this morning.

The top losers were Pt Perdana Karya Perkasa Tbk (PKPK), PT Trisula Textile Industries Tbk (BELL). PT Energi Mega PErsada Tbk (ENRG), PT Bumi Teknokultura Unggul Tbk (BTEK) and PT Kapuas Prima Coal Tbk (ZINC).

The top gainers were PT Magna Investama Mandiri Tbk (MGNA), PT Samudera Indonesia Tbk (SMDR), PT Surya Esa PErkasa Tbk (ESSA), PT Trada Alam Minera Tbk (TRAM) and PT Buyung Poetra Sembada Tbk (HOKI).
