JCI Drops 0.2% in First Session

Jakarta: The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) dropped by 0.2 percent, or 12.44 points, to 6,239.04 before break on Thursday, January 4, 2018.

According to RTI Infokom, the transaction volume was about 3.99 billion shares worth around 3.36 trillion rupiahs.

Moreover,  144 stocks were down, 167 were up and 110 were unchanged.

The index of 45 most liquid stocks dropped by 0.14 percent, or 1.43 points, to 1,055.09 at the end of the morning session.

In the first session, the top losers were PT Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) (BBTN), PT Barito Pacific Tbk (BRPT) and PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk (BBRI).

On the other hand, the top gainers were Pt Pelita Samudera Shipping Tbk (PSSI), Pt Campina Ice Cream Industry Tbk (CAMP) and PT Petrosea Tbk (PTRO).
