KCIC Signs EPC Contract for Jakarta-Bandung High-Speed Railway

Metrotvnews.com, Jakarta: PT Kereta Cepat Indonesia China (KCIC) and High-Speed Railway Contractor Consortium (HSRCC) has signed an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract on the Jakarta-Bandung high-speed railway project.

The contract signing ceremony was held at Wika Building in East Jakarta on Tuesday, April 4, 2017. 

The contract signing ceremony was witnessed by Indonesian Presidential Chief of Staff Teten Masduki and Chinese Ambassador Xie Feng.

"We have discussed the Jakarta-Bandung high-speed railway project for quite a long time," Teten said.

The project is expected to be operational by 2019. The project is worth around USD4.7 billion.
