Jakarta: The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) increased by 1.098 percent, or 65.596 points, to 6,037.907, on Thursday, November 16, 2017.

Acording to RTI Infokom, the transactionn volume were about 8.49 billion shares worth around 7.13 trillion rupiah.

Moreover, as many as 191 stocks were up, 147 were down and 107 were unchanged.

The index of 45 most liquid stocks (LQ45) increased by 1.599 percent, or 15.851 points, to 1,007.252 in the closing session.

The top gainers were PT Medco Energi International Tbk (MEDC), PT Indika Energy Tbk (INDY), PT HM Sampoerna Tbk (HMSP), PT Gudang Garam Tbk (GGRM) and PT Inti Agri Resources Tbk (IIKP).

The top losers were PT Bumi Teknokultura Unggul Tbk (BTEK), PT Tifa Finance Tbk (TIFA), PT RIMO International Lestari tbk (RIMO), PT Global Mediacom Tbk (BMTR) and PT XL Axiata Tbk (EXCL).
