Metrotvnews.com, Jakarta: The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) decreased by 8.447 points (0.144 percent) to 5,864.059 on Thursday, August 31, 2017.

According to RTI Infokom, the transaction volume were 10.59 billion shares worth around 6.65 trillion rupiah.

As many as 198 stocks were down, 138 were up and 114 were unchanged.

The index of 45 most liquid stocks (LQ45) decreased by 2.354 points (0.24 percent) to 977.330 today.

The top losers were PT Trada Maritime Tbk (TRAM), PT Gajah Tunggal Tbk (GJTL), PT Perusahaan Gas Negara Tbk (PGAS), PT Indika Energy Tbk (INDY) and PT Matahari Department Store Tbk (LPPF).

The top gainers were PT Sri Rejeki Isman Tbk (SRIL), PT Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) (BBTN), PT Semen Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (SMGR), PT H M Sampoerna Tbk (HMSP) and PT Sitara Propertindo Tbk (TARA).
