JCI Increases 0.23% in First Session

Jakarta: The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) increased by 0.23 percent or 14.68 points to 6.387.83 before break on Wednesday.

According to RTI, the transaction volume was about 6.56 billion shares worth around 3.95 trillion rupiahs.

Moreover, as many as 174 stock were up, 150 were down and 115 were unchanged.

The index of 45 most liquid stocks (LQ45) increased by 0.19 percent or two points to 1,085.3 at the end of the morning session.

In the first session, the top gainers were PT Malacca Trust Wuwungan Insurance Tbk (MTWI), PT Petrosea Tbk (PTRO) and PT Intikeramik Alamasri Inds. Tbk (IKAI).

On the other hand, the top losers were PT Asuransi Jiwa Syariah Jasa Mitra Abadi (JMAS), PT Bank Panin Dubai Syariah Tbk (PNBS) and PT Agung Podomoro Land Tbk (APLN).
