Jakarta: The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) increased by 0.644 percent, or 38.878 points, to 6,076.785 on Friday, November 17, 2017.

According to RTI Infokom, the transaction volume were about 6.9 billion shares worth around 6.9 trillion rupiah.

Moreover, as many as 147 stocks were up, 162 were down and 137 were unchanged.

The index of 45 most liquid stocks (LQ45) increased by 0.372 percent, or 3.744 points, to 1,010.996 in the closing session.

The top gainers were PT Surya Esa Perkasa Tbk (ESSA), PT Rimo International Lestari Tbk (RIMO), PT Mas Murni Indonesia Tbk (MAMI), PT Surya Citra Media Tbk (SCMA) and PT Bank Negara Indonesia Tbk (BBNI).

The top losers were PT Buana Listya Tama Tbk (BULL), Pt Gudang Garam Tbk (GGRM), PT Summarecon Agung Tbk (SMRA), PT H M Sampoerna Tbk (HMSP) and PT Medco Energi International Tbk (MEDC).
