Indonesia's Exports Slows in September

Metrotvnews.com, Jakarta: Indonesia's Central Statistics Agency (BPS) recorded the country's exports slowed by 4.51 percent month-to-month in September 2017.

Indonesia's exports stood at $14.54 billion last month. The country's exports stood at $15.22 billion in the previous month.

Meanwhile, Indonesia's non-oil and gas exports stood at $13.1 billion last month. The country's exports $13.93 billion in the previous month.

"It will rise again immediately at the end of the year," said BPS head Suhariyanto in Central Jakarta on Monday morning.

Indonesia recorded a trade surplus of $1.76 billion in September 2017. The country recorded a trade surplus of $10.87 billion in January-September 2017.

"The figure rose significantly compared to the same period last year," said BPS Suhariyanto in Central Jakarta on Monday morning.
