This afternoon, KPK leaders received PT Kereta Api Indonesia (KAI) executives at the KPK headquarters. During the meeting, they discussed the Light Rapid Transit (LRT) project in the Jabodetabek metropolitan area.

"The LRT project costs around Rp27.5 trillion. Meanwhile, the e-KTP project costs only Rp5 trillion," KPK deputy chairman Saut Situmorang said.

"The structure should be watched carefully. So, the culture could be made better," he added.

According to reports, the financial closing will be decided next month. Moreover, the construction phase will be completed in February 2018.
