KEK Palu is aimed to support agrciulture, mining and manufacturing industries. The special economic zone is expected to boost economic activities, exports and investments. realization.

"KEK Palu will process natural commodities from nearby regions," the former Bank Indonesia governor said.

KEK Palu will cover 500 hectares of land. The special economic zone will support Sulawesi Economic Corridor.

"KEK Palu can produce export commodities for the United States, China and other countries," the influential economist said.

Furthermore, the current government is committed to assist the small and medium enterprise (SME) sector. The central government will strengthen the Kredit Usaha Rakyat (People's Enterpris Credit) program.

"I have encouraged banks to promote KUR offers," Darmin stated.
