JCI Down 0.34% in First Session

Jakarta: The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) decreased by 0.34 percent or 21.87 points to 6,363.54 before break on Tuesday.

According to RTI, the transaction volume was about 5.61 billion shares worth around 3.61 trilllion rupiahs.

Meanwhile, 157 stocks were down, 161 were up and 125 were unchanged.

The index of 45 most liquid stocks (LQ45) decreased by 0.53 percent or 5.75 points to 1,080.65 at the end of the morning session.

In the first session, the top losers were PT ICTSI Jasa Prima Tbk (KARW), PT Bank Panin Dubai Syariah Tbk (PNBS), PT Hanson International Tbk (MYRX), PT AirAsia Indonesia Tbk (CMPP) and PT Trada Alam Miner Tbk (TRAM).

On the other hand, the top gainers were PT MNC Investama Tbk (BHIT), PT Bekasi Fajar Industrial Estate Tbk (BEST), PT Medco Energi International Tbk (MEDC), PT Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk and PT Barito Pacific Tbk (BRPT).
