Metrotvnews.com, Jakarta: The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) decreased by 1.899 points (0.032 percent) to 5,904.674 in the opening session on Friday, September 22, 2017.

According to RTI Infokom, the transaction volume were about 4.4 billion shares worth around 3.5 trillion rupiah.

Moreover, as many as 149 stocks were down, 135 were up and 121 were unchanged.

The index of 45 most liquid stocks (LQ45) decreased by 1.273 points (0.129 percent) to 982.141 at the end of the first session.

The top losers were PT Astra International Tbk (ASII), PT Barito Pacific Tbk (BRPT), PT Unilever Indonesia Tbk (UNVR), PT Indofoof Sukses Makmur Tbk (INDF), PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk (JSMR).

The top gainers were PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk (BBRI), PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA) PT Medco Energi International Tbk (MEDC), PT AKR Corporindo Tbk (AKRA), PT Soechi Lines Tbk (SOCI).
