House Commission XI Agrees New Macroeconomic Assumptions

Metrotvnews.com, Jakarta: The House of Representatives Commission XI overseeing financial affairs has agreed the proposed macroeconomic assumptions in the 2017 amended state budget draft.

"The government must work harder," the House of Representatives Commission XI head Melchias Markus Mekeng during a working meeting at the Parliament Building Complex on Monday.

The working meeting was attended by Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Darmin Nasution and Minister of National Development Planning Bambang Brodjonegoro.

The working meeting was joined by Bank Indonesia (BI) Governor Agus Martwowardojo and the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) chairman Suhariyanto.

The government set the economic growth target at 5.1 percent in the 2017 amended state budget draft. The government set the economic growth target at 5.2 percent in the 2017 state budget.
