Jakarta: The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) increased by 0.24 percent, or 14.54 points, to 6,133.96 on Monday, December 18, 2017.

According to RTI Infokom, the transaction volume were 12.87 billion shares worth around 6.88 trillion rupiah.

Moreover, 142 stocks were up, 196 were down and 110 were unchanged.

The index of 45 most liquid stocks (LQ45) increased by 0.54 percent, or 5.57 points, to 1,035.67 in the closing session.

In addition, the top gainers were PT Dwi Guna Laksana Tbk (DWGL), PT Bank CIMB Niaga Tbk (BNGA), PT Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk (WSKT), PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI), PT Soechi Lines Tbk (SOCI).

On the other hand, the top losers were PT Saraswati Griya Lestari Tbk (HOTL), PT Hanson International Tbk (MYRX), PT Siwani Makmur Tbk (SIMA), PT Agung Podomoro Lands Tbk (APLN), PT Lippo Karawaci Tbk (LPKR).
