JCI Drops 1.1% in Morning

Jakarta: The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) decreased by 1.1 percent, or 68.08 points, to 6099,59 on Wednesday morning.

According to RTI Infokom, the transaction volume were about 7.63 billion shares worth around 4.45 trillion rupiah.

Furthermore, as many a 217 stocks were down, 90 were up and 110 were unchanged.

The index of 45 most liquid stocks (LQ45) decreased by 1.52 percent, or 15,81 poiints, to 1,026.08 in the morning session.

In the first session, the top losers were PT Global Mediacom Tbk (BMTR), PT H M Sampoerna Tbk (HMSP), PT Sri Rejeki Isman Tbk (SRL), PT Delta Dunia Makmur Tbk (DOID) and PT Astra International Tbk (ASII).

Meanwhile, the top gainers were PT Bumi Teknokultura Unggul Tbk (BTEK), PT Di Guna Laksana Tbk (DWGL), PT Campina Ice Crem Industry Tbk (CAMP), PT Samudera Indonesia Tbk (SMDR) and PT Inti Agri Resources Tbk (IIKP).
