Metrotvnews.com, Jakarta: Bank Indonesia is confident Indonesia's banking credit growth will improve in the second semester of 2017.

According to the Central Bank, the country's economic growth will improve this semester. It will be influenced by increasing infrastructure expenditures.

Moreover, the country's trade surplus will increase this semester. It will be influenced by rising commodity prices.

"All sectors will be better this semester," Bank Indonesia governor Agus Martowardojo said in Jakarta on Friday.

The country's banking credit disbursement reached Rp4,518 trillion in June 2017. It grew 7.6 percent compared to the same period last year.
