Metrotvnews.com, Jakarta: The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) increased by 24.808 points (0.425 percent) to 5,857.119 on Friday, September 8, 2017.

According to RTI Infokom, the transaction volume were about 16.04 billion shares worth around 8.39 trillion rupiah.

Moreover, as many as 159 stocks were up, 142 were downa and 130 were unchanged.

The index of 45 most liquid stocks (LQ45) increased by 5.607 poins (0.578 percent) to 976.464 today.

The top gainers were PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk (BMRI), PT Indika Energy Tbk (INDY), PT Astra International Tbk (ASII), PT Semen Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (SMGR) and PT H M Sampoerna Tbk (HMSP).

The top losers were PT Gudang Garam Tbk (GGRM), PT Bank Negara Indonesia Tbk (BBNI), PT Perusahaan Gas Negara Tbk (PGAS), PT Agung Podomoro Land Tbk (APLN) and PT United Tractors Tbk (UNTR).
