Metrotvnews.com, Jakarta: The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) increased by 61.271 points or 1.066 percent to 5,810.563 points on Tuesday, August 8, 2017.

According to RTI Infokom, the transaction volume reached around 8.66 billion shares worth around 6.13 trillion rupiah.

As many as 172 stocks were up, 163 stocks were down and 107 stocks were unchanged.

The index of 45 most liquid stocks increased by 12.712 points or 1.331 percent to 967.695 points today.

The top gainers were PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA), PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk (BMRI) and PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Jawa Barat dan Banten Tbk (BJBR).

The top losers were PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI), PT Gudang Garam Tbk (GGRM) and PT Energi Mega Persada Tbk (ENRG).
