JCI Surges 48 Points in Morning Session

Metrotvnews.com, Jakarta: The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) increased by 48.382 points (0.828 percent) to 5,889.429 in the opening session of Monday, September 29, 2017.

According to RTI, the transaction volume were about 3.37 billion shares worth around 3.16 trillion rupiah.

Furthermore, as many as 175 stocks were up, 126 were down and 113 were unchanged.

The index of 45 most liquid stocks (LQ45) increased by 12.085 points (1.247 percent) to 98124 at the end of the second session.

The top gainers were PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI), PT Perusahaan Gas Negara Tbk (PGAS), PT Buyung Poetra Sembada Tbk (HOKI), PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk (BBRI), PT Bumi Teknokultura Unggul Tbk (BTEK).

The top losers were PT Asuransi Bintang Tbk (ASBI), PT Mas Murni Indonesia Tbk (MAMI), PT Surya Citra Medi Tbk (SCMA), PT Bank Rakyat Indonesa Agroniaga Tbk (AGRO), PT Medco Energi International Tbk (MEDC).
