Metrotvnews.com, Jakarta: The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) decreased by 2.371 points (0.04 percent) to 5,947.33 on Tuesday, October 17, 2017.

According to RTI Infokom, the transaction volume were about 6.65 billion shares worth around 7.66 trillion rupiah.

Furthermore, as many as 183 stocks were down, 160 were up and 112 were unchanged.

The index of 45 most liquid stocks (LQ45) increased by 0.2244 points (0.023 percent) to 991.642 at the end of the afternoon session.

The top losers were PT Armidian Karyatama Tbk (ARMY), PT KMI Wire & Cable Tbk (KBLI), PT Barito Pacific Tbk, PT Agung Podomoro Land Tbk (APLN), PT Budi Starch & Sweetener Tbk (BUDI).

The top gainers were PT Mitrabahtera Segara Sejati Tbk (MBSS), PT Perdana Karya Perkasa Tbk (PKPK), Express Transindo Utama Tbk (TAXI), PT Global Mediacom Tbk (BMTR), PT Intraco Penta Tbk (INTA).
