Jakarta: The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) increased by 0.98 percent, or 61.42 points, to 6,353.74 on Friday, January 5, 2018.

According to RTI, the transaction volume was about 11.11 billion shares worth around 6.72 trillion rupiahs.

Meanwhile, as many as 216 stocks were up, 122 were down and 124 were unchanged.

The index of 45 most liquid stocks (LQ45) increased by 1.21 percent, or 12.88 points, to 1,080.15 in the afternoon session.

In the first session, the top gainers were PT Bank Panin Dubai Syariah Tbk (PNBS), PT Delta Dunia Makmur Tbk (DOID) and PT First Indo American Leasing Tbk (FINN).

On the other hand, the top losers were PT Marya Abhinaya Abadi Tbk (MABA), PT Pelita Samudera Shipping Tbk (PSSI) and PT Samudera Indonesia Tbk (SMDR).
