JCI Surges 0.48% in Morning

Jakarta: The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) increased by 0.48 percent, or 29.97 points, to 6,250.99 on Monday morning.

According to RTI Infokom, the transaction volume was about 12.44 billion shares worth around 4.71 trillion rupiahs.

Moreover, as many as 192 stocks were up, 128 were down and 120 were unchanged.

The index of 45 most liquid stocks (LQ45) increased by 0.44 percent, or 4.65 points, to 1,058.4 in the opening session.

In the first session, the top gainers were PT Asuransi Jiwa Syariah Jasa Mitra Abadi (JMAS), PT Bank Danamon Tbk (BDMN), PT J REsources Asia Pasifik Tbk (PSAB), PT Surya Semesta Internusa Tbk (SSIA) and PT Elnusa Tbk (ELSA).

Meanwhile, the top losers were PT Eureka Prima Jakarta Tbk (LCGP), PT Bumi Teknokultura Unggul Tbk (BTEK), PT Indofarma Tbk (INAF), PT Indomobil Multi Jasa Tbk (IMJS) an PT MNC Investama Tbk (BHIT).
