Metrotvnews.com, Jakarta: The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) increased by 13.444 points or 0.231 percent to 5,824.007 points on Wednesday, August 9, 2017.

According to RTI Infokom, the transaction volume reached around 7.95 billion shares worth around 6.77 trillion rupiah.

As many as 185 stocks were up, 147 stocks were down an 118 stocks were unchanged.

The index of 45 most liquid stocks increased by 1.461 points or 0.151 percent to 969.156 points today.

The top gainers were PT Ciputra Development Tbk (CTRA), PT Summarecon Agung Tbk (SMRA) and PT Vale Indonesia Tbk (INCO).

The top losers were PT Gudang Garam Tbk (GGRM), PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BBUMI) and PT H M Sampoerna Tbk (HMSP).
