Metrotvnews.com, Jakarta: Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Darmin Nasution admitted Singapore is trying to obstruct tax amnesty program in Indonesia.

"We know more now," Darmin said here on Friday (9/16/2016).

Previously, Singapore authorities instructed banks to report clients participating in the tax amnesty program. The Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) claimed that is normal anti-money laundering practice in every country.

"When they have the money, they keep silent," Darmin stated.

Tax amnesty program is intended to attract assets of Indonesians abroad. It will be implemented until March 2017.
