Metrotvnews.com, Jakarta: Tax director general Ken Dwijugiasteadi visited Tanah Abang Market in Jakarta on Monday (10/17) morning.

Ken urged small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to join the tax amnesty program. He assured the program will not give them troubles.

"Don't be afraid," Ken told traders at Tanah Abang Market.

The government generated Rp93.7 trillion worth of redemption funds in the first period of the tax amnesty program.  SMEs contributed only a small fraction of the redemption funds.

"All citizens have rights to enjoy tax services," Ken stated.
