The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) will announce August trade data later this week.

"Non-oil and gas commmodities contribute around 50 percent to the total exports. Meanwhile, oil and gas commodities contribute around 20 percent," Mirza said here on Monday (9/12/2016).

"Therefore, exports increase when commodity prices increase," Mirza continued.

Indonesia enjoyed USD9.63 billion trade surplus in the first semester of 2016. It recorded USD598.3 million trade surplus in July 2016.
