Metrotvnews.com, Jakarta: The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) increased 0.22 percent or 11.76 points to 5,421 on Monday (10/24).

The LQ45 index fell 0.53 percent, while the Jakarta Islamic Index (JII) rose 2.76 percent.

Trade volume reached 4.7 billion shares worth Rp4.3 trillion. 192 stocks strengthened, 114 stocks weakened and 111 stocks were unchanged.

Agriculture and mining sectors increased 32.7 points and 15.26 points respectively. In the other hand, consumer goods sector decreased 14.26 points.

Previously, Daewoo Securities said investors are waiting the United States (US) Federal Reserve's interest rate decision.
