JCI Drops 112 Points in First Session

Metrotvnews.com, Jakarta: The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) weakened on Wednesday (11/9) afternoon as Donald Trump is leading against Hillary Cinton in the United States presidential election.

It decreased by 2.05 percent or 112.48 points at 5,358 this afternoon. It opened at 5,478 this morning.

All sectors fell this afternoon. consumer goods sector declined by 54.32 points.

Moreover, Bloomberg showed the rupiah depreciated by 1.02 percent or 133 points to Rp13,217 per USD at 12.36 PM Jakarta time.

Trump is considered as a threat to global economy. He is known for his anti-free trade messages.
