JCI Rises 23.55 Points

Metrotvnews.com, Jakarta: The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) increased 23.55 points or 0.44 percent to 5,395 on Monday (11/7).

The LQ45 index rose 3.95 points. Meanwhile the Jakarta Islamic Index (JII) moved up 3.62 points.

Trade volume reached around 8.4 billion worth around Rp5.4 trillion. 170 stocks strengthened, 133 stocks weakened and 100 stocks remained unchanged.

Mining and consumer goods sectors rose. On the other hand, basic industry sector fell.

Previously, the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) announced the economy grew 5.02 percent in the third quarter of 2016.
