Metrotnews.com, Jakarta: The government will spend a total of Rp387.3 trillion for infrastructure development next year.

The Public Works and Public Housing Ministry will receive Rp98.8 trillion. Meanwhile, the Transportation Ministry will receive Rp42.1 trillion.

The Finance Ministry's budget director general Askolani said the government will build 13 airports and 55 ports. The goverment will also build 815 km of roads and 9,399 m of bridges.

"As well as 550 km of railroads," said Askolani during a press conference in Jakarta on Thursday (10/27).

The House of Representatives approved the 2017 State budget on Wednesday (10/26). The growth assumption is 5.1 percent. Meanwhile, the budget deficit target is 2.41 percent.
