Industry Minister Visits Japan, Eyes Investments
Industry Minister Airlangga Hartarto (Photo: Industry Ministry), Jakarta: Industry Minister Airlangga Hartarto will visit Japan today (10/13). He will meet with Japanese officials and industrialists.

"I will meet with Japanese Economy, Trade and Industry Minister Hiroshige Seko, Japan-Indonesia Parliament League chairman and Japanese industrialits," said Airlangga in a written statement Thursday (10/13).

"I will visit Daihatsu R&D Center. The company is committed to develop automotive industry in Indonesia," he continued.

Furthermore, he will meet with Kansai Economic Federation (Kankeiren) and Osaka Steel. He will also conduct one-on-one meeting with Nippon Steel Sumitomo Metal Corporation, Mitsubishi Motor Corporation, Mitsubishi Material Corporation, Asahi Glass Corporation, Sango Corporation and Shoji Corporation.

"The companies plan to invest in Indonesia," he concluded.

The Golkar politician will be in Japan until Sunday (10/16).
