Metrotvnews.com, Jakarta: Consuming multivitamin might be a smart move as you may get lots of micronutrients in a capsule.

However, here are the five nutritious foods equal to a multivitamin and provides all needed vitamins and minerals.

1. Almond
Almond nut is the perfect food to exchange the multivitamins with regular foods. A study found that consuming 1.5 ounces of almond may lift essential acidic level, vitamin E and magnesium to a recommended daily level.



2. Shells
Oysters, mussels, shells and scallops have high vitamin and mineral contents among other animals. Shells have high nutritions, including proteins, but low in calories and fat. A number of shells have vitamin B12, zinc and selenium advised for your body. Shells also have high omega-3 fatty acid that is good for your heart and brain function's health. They are also filled with mineral, magnesium and phosphor.


3. Quinoa
One of the superfoods can also replace your multivitamins. Quinoa has lots of fibres, protein and a very high content of essential amino acid. Technically, quinoa is not wheat. It is the seeds of the plants within the same familia with bit, spinach and radish. The small grains contain healthy fat, folic acid, manganese, magnesium, iron, copper, phosphor and zinc.




4. Lacto-fermented vegetables
These are the vegetables fermented with lactobacillus bacteria such as sauerkraut and kimchi, as well as several types of pickles. A portion of these vegetables has a high dose of vitamin C, all vitamin B and essential amino acids - especially the lysine and methionine. The fermented vegetables also provides good bacterias essential for the digestive health. 



5. Seaweed
Seaweed absorbs the sea's mineral, which means it contains lots of iron, calcium, potassium, niacin, phosphor and magnesium. Seaweed has 56 minerals essential for humans. Aside from that, seaweed also contains vitamin A, B, K, C and E.
