INACRAFT 2016, Indonesia's Largest Handicraft Exhibition
INACRAFT 2016 press conference (Photo: MTVN/ Sri Yanti Nainggolan), Jakarta: The 18th Jakarta International Handicraft Trade Fair (INACRAFT) will be held on April 20-24, 2016 at the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC). It is the largest handicraft exhibition in Indonesia.
INACRAFT 2016 is intended to facilitate Indonesian handicraft products to international market. For this year, Minangkabau culture will be highlighted through decorations, various art performances and culinaries.
There are 1,400 participants comprising of producers and exporters both domestic and foreign with the total of 1,333 stands. Several foreign countries participating in INACRAFT 2016 are Singapore, Japan, Pakistan, Nepal, India and Syria.
INACRAFT is the government's annual agenda to display various textiles, woods, ceramics, jewellery and house decoration products. Aside from that, the INACRAFT Award will be held on April 24.
"We will also hold a national seminar related to the opportunities and challenges in facing ASEAN Economic Community (AEC)," said Muchsin R, the Vice Chairman I of the Exporter and Producer Association of Indonesia (ASEPHI) in a press conference in Jakarta, Monday (4/18/2016).
Aside from that, INACRAFT 2016 also hold a seminar on Batik art on the last day of the exhibition. 
The committee will prepare free shuttle bus services at several departure points, including the airport and several malls such as Margocity Depok, Mall Taman Anggrek and Summarecon Mall Bekasi.
