"Cheap supplements contain a lot of chemicals," said dr. Karina Besinga, orthopedic surgeon from Siloam Hospital Kebon Jeruk.

"They can have dangerous effects to the body," she continued.

She did not advise supplements for children. She recommended healthy foods such as broccoli, papaya, orange and banana.

"It is not only milk," she stated.
