Metrotvnews.com, Jakarta: The Network for North Korean Democracy and Human Rights (NKNeT) opened the North Korean Human Rights International Film Festival (NHIFF) this afternoon.

The South Korean non-governmental organization (NGO) will hold the film festival until November 30.

"We hold the film festival annually," said South Korean human rights activist Yoo Jae-Kil at Lotte Avenue in Jakarta on Monday (11/28).

"We want to address human rights in North Korea," he continued.

The NGO established the film festival in 2011. Previously, they held the event in France, Germany and other countries.
