Metrotvnews.com, Jakarta: Several activities could prevent osteoporosis. Young people should follow these tips to prevent osteoporosis.

Dr. Tetty Hutabarat advised young people to use backpack. She mentioned the bag could ease the pressure on the back.

"However, the weight should be lower than 2.5 kilograms," she stated.

Secondly, she recommended young people to swim regularly. She explained the activity could strengthen the bones.

Lastly, she suggested young people to sit straight. The position will minimize the pressure on the back.
