Metrotvnews.com, Jakarta: Aspirin has many health benefits, especially for health patients.

Indonesian Heart Association (IHA) chairman dr. Ismoyo Sunu said aspirin can prevent blood clots. It can lower the risk of heart attack.

"Aspirin is a blood thinner," he said during a public discussion in Jakarta recently.

There are two types of blood thinners. First, anticoagulants such as heparin or warfarin. Secondly, antiplatelet drugs such as aspirin.
