Metrotvnews.com, Jakarta: The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) investigators caught five people during a sting operation in Banjarmasin city on Thursday evening.

They reportedly caught a region-owned water company executive. They also caught a number of local lawmakers and bussinesspersons.

The top executive was allegedly involved in a bribery case in connection with a regional bill deliberation. He was accused of giving bribes to local lawmakers.

"Please wait for the press conference," KPK chairman Agus Raharjo said at the KPK headquarters on Friday morning.

The suspects will be brought to the KPK headquarters this afternoon. They will be qustioned by KPK investigators for 24 hours.
