Jakarta Police Claims Fewer Crimes During Lebaran Holidays

Metrotvnews.com, Jakarta: The Jakarta Metro Police has recorded fewer criminal cases during the Lebaran holidays.

"It is still conducive," the Jakarta Metro Police spokesperson Senior Commissioner Raden Prabowo Argo Yuwono said in Jakarta on Tuesday.

The Jakarta Metro Police only recorded a small number of criminal cases during the Lebaran holidays. The agency also recorded a handful of traffic accidents in the past few days.

The Jakarta Metro Police implemented tighter security measures in some tourist objects. The agency added more security officers in many shopping malls.

"We have security posts in those areas," the spokesman said.
