Jakarta: The Indonesian Foreign Ministry will move the 10th Bali Democracy Forum (BDF X) from the Bali Nusa Dua Convention Center (BNDCC) to the International Convention Exhibition Bumi Serpong Damai (ICE BSD).

ICE BSD is located at South Tangerang municipality of the greater Jakarta region. It is considered as the largest convention center in the country.

"Until now, Nusa Dua is unaffected with the Mount Agung eruption. However, I Gusti Ngurah Rai airport is prone to the volcanic ash," the Indonesian Foreign Ministry's public information director general Cecep Herawan said in Central Jakarta on Thursday afternoon.

BDF X will be attended by 26 country delegations. It will be observed by six international organizations.

Mount Agung started to spew grey volcanic smoke last week. It continued to show increasing volcanic activity throughout the week.

The alert status was upgraded to the highest level (Level 4) this month. It was downgraded to the lower level (Level 3) last month.
