Ahok-Djarot to Monitor Jakarta Election in Kebagusan

Metrotvnews.com, Jakarta: Incumbent Jakarta Governor Basuki Tjahaja Purnama and Vice Governor Djarot Saiful Hidayat will monitor the Jakarta gubernatorial election at PDIP chairwoman Megawati Soekarnoputri's home in Kebagusan, South Jakarta.

"Pak Ahok and Pak Djarot will visit Kebagusan," PDIP secretary general Hasto Kristiyanto said.

"We will watch quick count and real count," Hasto continued.

Ahok cast his vote at polling booth number 54 in Pluit, North Jakarta. Ahok arrived at the polling booth at around 09.40 AM.

Djarot cast his vote at polling booth number 8 in East Kuningan, South Jakarta. Djarot arrived at the polling booth with his wife.

"All parties and volunteers have given their best," Hasto stated.

The incumbent pair are endorsed by PDIP, Nasdem Party, Hanura Party and Golkar Party. Meanwhile, Agus Yudhoyono-Sylviana Murni are endorsed by Democratic Party, PPP, PKB and PAN. Lastly, Anies Baswedan-Sandiaga Uno are endorsed by Gerindra Party and PKS.
