Metrotvnews.com, Jakarta: The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) held a sting operation in Bengkulu on Wednesday evening.

"We caught a number of people," KPK spokesman Febri Diansyah said in Jakarta on Thursday morning.

A local judge reportedly was caught during the sting operation. The local judge was allegedly bribed by a corruption suspect.

"There is an indication of a bribery attempt involving a local judge," the KPK spokesman explained

The anti-corruption agency will examine the suspects for 24 hours. The anti-graft watchdog will move the suspects to the KPK headquarters.
